A wonderful early 19th century English bowfront chest of drawers of Mahogany in the late Sheraton style. The gently swelling front houses three long drawers having cross banded and inlayed decorations of tulip holly and ebony woods. Original oval brasses depicting a wealth of flowers blooming have a deep patinated lustre. The simple elegance of this chest is punctuated by smart splay-leg design, which adds a powerful visual effect to the profile of the piece. Pine secondary woods throughout. Chest ready for lots of use in any home.

Wear consistent of an antique. Repairs to drawer dovetails,  veneer repairs, split seam along top, losses and nicks.
